Astrid is a second-year Psychological and Brain Sciences major with a minor in English. She is broadly interested in neural function and the biological mechanisms that underlie cognition, memory, and behavior. She is especially intrigued by brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, and how these conditions affect cognitive processes. Outside of academics, she loves skiing and spending time outdoors, which she grew up doing in Sun Valley, Idaho.
